“Duality of meaning has always intrigued me. In this case the interchangeability of a tube of lipstick and a bullet captures ironic implications. Cosmetics enhance and beautify life. A bullet damages life. Floating at a 45-degree angle suggests the dynamic of sexual movement. Female (cosmetic) and male (guns) share this ironic icon.” – Ed Paschke –
